@governor.pa.gov Pennsylvania needs an order like this
New Mexico has issued a public health order that removes federal restrictions to COVID-19 vaccine access so that pharmacies in New Mexico can vaccinate people of all ages and risk profiles. Every state need to do this!

If the election ends up between two transphobes (since you insist on nominating a transphobe as the Dem nominee), then no, I won't be voting at all. Hope that helps!

So glad the Democrats have ChatGPT writing their talking points
Jeffries on Trump planning a military crackdown in Chicago: "We should continue to support local law enforcement and not simply allow Donald Trump to play games with the lives of the American people as part of his effort to manufacture a crisis and create a distraction because he's deeply unpopular"

Although he has become a shitty person, I think Fetterman provided a solid blueprint for how to run against the modern GOP in his campaign against Mehmet Oz: a potent combination of ridicule and disdain. I would love to see this strategy implemented on a national level.
A great sin of the post-Obama years was the decision to let Trump’s aberrance speak for itself, in implicit contrast to Democrats' normalcy. @gavinnewsom.bsky.social is (finally) pointing to a better way. He shouldn't let anyone talk him out of it, and other Dems should take his approach farther.

Words/phrases Democrats should never use:

* bipartisan
* my Republican friends
* real, valid, legitimate, serious, important (to describe issue raised by Republicans)
* yea (when voting on Republican bills)
* distraction (to describe bad thing Republicans did)
* woke (in derogatory sense)

this is going to be an unpopular take but this is 1000000000% bait, this is 1000000000% vance intentionally driving far right traffic to this website, this is 1000000000% implicit brigading (surely to Musk's great joy), and therefore you should 1000000000% not take the aforementioned incoming bait

In fairness to Pam Bondi those pills were the size of dinner plates
Been having a debate in my own head about which implication here is more fucking stupid:

A) Every fentanyl pill that enters the U.S. kills five people, or

B) If unchecked, fentanyl would kill every living person in America in less than one year

It's close, but I think it's A).

Counterpoint: no, it wouldn't
Bluesky needs more ideological diversity, a thread:

1/8: I think the question of why commentators like Matt Yglesias, Lakshya Jain, Noah Smith, Nate Silver and Richard Hanania don’t post more, or at all on Bluesky is important.

This would be a better platform if they did.
I like posting on BlueSky because I think I’m the most right-wing person who uses this service.

It's not "politicizing a tragedy" to point out the top levels of the federal government aren't functional—the three key leaders here are drunk rapist TV show host at DoD, reality TV star at DoT, and nobody at FAA—and they're doing squat except spreading the same dysfunction down the ladder.
REPORTER: Is there an acting FAA director?

DUFFY: *walks away*

(The FAA director resigned on the day of Trump's inauguration under pressure from Elon Musk)
