Is there a reason I ask that the Times are using a picture of asylum seekers in a boat to describe rules for migrants who came on legal routes such as skilled worker visas for doctors?
Tough new conditions to be imposed on migrants who want to settle in the UK will not apply to more than a million people who arrived in the UK under the post-Brexit immigration surge

This is a Dunning Kruger presidency. Trump is completely uninterested in complexity, has no attention span, and thus has no understanding of detail... whether it be Ukraine, the US economy, or even very basic stuff regarding global and domestic politics. But the worst bit is - he thinks he does.

I’ve said it before. The “move fast and break things” Silicon Valley mentality does not translate to government because when we break things in government, we impact people’s lives. Literally.
Musk: I should say we will make mistakes. We won't be perfect. But when we make a mistake we'll fix it quickly. So for example with USAID, one of the things we accidentally canceled briefly was Ebola prevention.

G-A-Y has closed and the owner cited Great Compton Street not being Great Compton Street anymore, Soho no longer being Soho, and now the Prince Charles Cinema's greedy landlord might demolish it. I had to leave London because I can't afford it now, but also it's turning into one big Pret a Manger.
