I've seen it called 'overrated', and I know that's common for most popular titles.
But make no mistake, it had an enormous impact on gaming, and it's beloved by so many gamers for good reason. I can't, and won't, diminish it.

Anyway, part of the cost/weight is to expect this outcome and figure out how you deal with it. There are a ton of organizers who have genuinely insane security models but who will, simultaneously, get angry at anyone doing more than them because it represents a failure of their overall model.

interesting how *elite* in the american context means not only politicians and rich people, but also the coterie of court wizards they assemble to keep entertained. so you get like noam chomsky, laurence krauss, david brooks, etc all defending and/or participating in billionaire rape privledges
i dont think a sizable portion of our elites are pedophiles but i think many, if not most, believe that being an elite means you should get away with being a pedophile (and virtually anything else) and are willing to defend that class privledge even in the face of widespread public condemnation
