I worked as a professional labor organizer for a decade and I see zero conflict between that and my later organizing work getting Nazis fired from their workplaces.

The thing that's never sat with me re:criticism about Expedition 33 being "baby's first JRPG" is that the people who actually made the game couldn't be more consistently reverent about their influences.

If I'm allowed an "I told you so", remember voice actors, when I hopped on mic at the SAG strike meeting and said people were willing to give up everything to the AAA companies that aren't the ones winning awards anymore? That they're no longer "prestige"?

This is not slandering the nominees (they're great games) but those studios we were striking against. EA? Bought by Saudi royals. WB? Bought by Netflix.
