Reading all the Wuthering Heights reviews and I can't say I'm surprised so many adaptations even before this one miss the point. The English speaking world decided a story called "The rape of Persephone" should be an uwu love story so at least im relieved they do this to their own works as well

I hope the Wuthering Heights fiasco brings back proper movie journalism. I feel like in the 90s people put more emphasis on the reviews of actual journalists. I want to see it get torn apart so badly that future vapid directors get traumatised.
