I am heart-broken that the US is increasingly unsafe to travel to. I'm still a US citizen, so I am writing to my senators/reps to make sure they know about Iris and others in the international arts community forced to make decisions like this, culturally impoverishing us all. Perhaps you will too?
I’ve had to make the tough call to cancel my attendance as artist guest of honour at the Fantasy Art Workshop in Milwaukee in June… why? Because it’s no longer safe

I just don't have it in me to muse philosophically about the days to come but I also have no interest in hopelessness or despair. I'm just gonna keep carrying on, watch out for my own and count the days to the mid terms. Protect your mental health. This place is becoming a trauma vortex
