The Supreme Court ordered Donald Trump to bring Kilmar Abrego Garcia home in a 9-0 decision. He is defying the Supreme Court. Every American should be concerned and we cannot allow him to strip away due process like this.

Our local history museum has this painting of "Tinkle" in their collection but I have NEVER seen it on display. Always in storage. They open for the season May 9th and we're very anxious to see if it's out this year. Unknown artist, 1883. shelburnemuseum.org/online-exhib...

Are you that discontented DOGE staffer? It might be time. You can reach out to me on Signal at joshtpm.99 (I'm not like Mike Waltz; I know how to use it.) You can also get me at joshtpm at protonmail dot com. Are you a federal worker with information I need to hear? I want to hear from you too.

I am heart-broken that the US is increasingly unsafe to travel to. I'm still a US citizen, so I am writing to my senators/reps to make sure they know about Iris and others in the international arts community forced to make decisions like this, culturally impoverishing us all. Perhaps you will too?
I’ve had to make the tough call to cancel my attendance as artist guest of honour at the Fantasy Art Workshop in Milwaukee in June… why? Because it’s no longer safe

Right now, the ultra wealthy want to control what women can do, who people can love, what clothes people can wear, what race you can be and still hold a job, and to convince enough people that they're in danger unless they give a shit about everyone else's business.

In these insane times, I encourage you to support independent presses and authors.

Reading is a respite. It will recharge you.

It will teach you patience, empathy, creativity.

It will delight you.

All of these are necessary to survive.

Plus you'll be helping artists survive, too.

Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last.

Don't let anyone make you feel like this is The End. Do not let them demoralize you. Live to see them die.

So much goes on in all of the lives here.
Off to London for art-related meetings and view a private collection of works by Barbara Dietzsch. The dark background in this work (c1760) was characteristic of the Nuremberg School; it enabled artists to capture with minute precision botanical details of the flora and fauna depicted in their work

I hope to God that this is an acceptable approach.
I just don't have it in me to muse philosophically about the days to come but I also have no interest in hopelessness or despair. I'm just gonna keep carrying on, watch out for my own and count the days to the mid terms. Protect your mental health. This place is becoming a trauma vortex
