A new all-electric double-decker Climate Stripes bus has started taking passengers around Reading today.

The bus shows the warming stripes for Reading back to the 1860s and will hopefully help start climate conversations amongst passengers.

#Melbourne is so parched. 3mm of rain in the past six weeks and repeated heatwaves. Example of an intense flash drought coming on top of an ordinary rainfall year.

Measles has one of the highest basic reproduction numbers (R₀) of any disease (12 to 18), meaning one infected person can spread it to 12 to 18 others in a fully susceptible population, making it extremely contagious. Need 95% vaccination status to achieve herd immunity. Get vaccinated!!

February has just started and heat records are falling in all Continents.
In South America heat waves are one after another and yesterday 1 February a new monthly record of highest Temperature was set in Rio Grande do Norte State
with 40.0C in Caicò.
