This is obviously virulent misogyny that hurts all women, but it's also deeply disturbing to me that the ai girlfriends in these depictions are East Asian women, specifically. I haven't seen people talking about the racialized aspect of the misogyny and I'm curious if anyone has written about it

even before AI became such a massive thing, women and girls (yes, minors) in korea were dealing with their classmates, family, friends, and partners using photoshop to turn their photos into porn. when AI began proliferating, all i could think about were those people and how things would worsen.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
