Thank you to everyone who voted for me!
@manchestermill.bsky.social doing some proper reporting while the MEN's coverage is sorely lacking.

But I did have a dark laugh at the highlighted bit. Thuggery and stupidity go fist in fist.

Southbound data is being collected (and this is a good number southbound at this time of day/month), so hopefully it's just a reporting problem that will be resolved soon.

Thanks, @unabridgedopinions.com!

So that's two posts in two minutes sharing unlabelled screengrabs of you-know-who.

Come on, folks. Do better. Alt text improves accessibility AND allows people to have more control over what they see.

Sigh.

Let me see what I can do to get this sorted.
On Thursday 22nd January 2026 there were 2,092 cyclists northbound and no data for cyclists southbound.

Hoping that @jenwilliamsft.bsky.social gets to do the coverage of Gorton and Denton because then there's a good chance it won't be horribly misrepresented.
January 22, 2026 at 4:08 PM
Yep, cannot wait for the hot takes from people who have barely even noticed that the constituency is no longer Denton and Reddish.

I'm highly suspicious of the idea of a social media ban, but also I don't think the current state of social media is doing us any good. Being under a permanent state of negativity and urgency is absolutely terrible.

BREAKING NEWS is breaking me.

Massive news! Court of Appeal rules Tower Hamlets plan to rip out LTNs unlawful because council would be failing to implement it's own "local implementation plan [LIP] – namely, the way it planned to implement the transport strategy" of Mayor @london.gov.uk. In other words, rogue boroughs can't...

Any recommendations for a supplier of linden/lime honey?

Used to be available from supermarkets/Holland and Barrett, now can't find it anywhere.

Edinburgh Honey Co. last couple of orders tasted like normal honey, so not an option unless someone has recent experience.

Drawn last week, when I wasn’t doing that well. For anyone who is struggling a bit, for whatever reason. It’s OK to have days when we just get by.

Loving the CasualUK responses to a potential neighbour dispute where the standard Reddit response is rightly getting downvoted and the 'maybe they're not well' response, with helpful advice, is top-rated.

There will be a temporary closure/signed diversion in place tomorrow on the TPT in Stockport between the M60 bridge and the green footbridge to allow a large unsafe tree to be felled - likely to be closed for 2 or 3 days. @stockportcouncil.bsky.social @walkridestocky.bsky.social @walkridegm.org.uk

*Sighs once again*.

Consultations are not referendums. We have a system of representative democracy. Those elected enact policy and consult on *how* it is enacted, not if. There are many, many good reasons why this is the case.

A blissful night's sleep, but not enough to deal with *gestures at my feed*

More active travel, please, less international news.

Running very well in my view.

How's your day panning out? I've been awake since four, and am hoping to have at least some work done before my brain declares it naptime at around midday.

Oh look everyone's sharing the same Twitter post without alt text so I'm seeing it multiple times instead of it being muted FFS.

There are now just 2 weeks remaining to show your support for this excellent scheme, which is currently on the receiving end of an organised campaign to stop it going ahead.

If you want a safe route between Irlam and the rest of Salford, please express your support
We have today submitted our formal support for the Peel Green Active Travel Scheme.

We are encouraging all our followers to submit their own support (see following post), as drivers are objecting to this scheme based on it adding a mere 70 seconds to their morning drive.
