I promised myself I’d work on some of my own projects while freelancing this time around, so with that in mind, here’s THE 13 DEMONS OF AKUMA SAIZO.

A 28 page adventure for RONIN. By me. For you.
Hope you like it. :-)

Part two of my Cthulhu Far From Rome campaign, this time with my regular Tuesday night group. So much fun was had we lost track of time.

"Lucky the dog tries to save the hostage and leaps at the guard's throat!" "He's wearing armour, Lucky doesn't stand a chance!" (rolls dice)...

Today I am listening to all of Nine Inch Nails back catalogue while coding because that's where my brain is at. It reminds me of playing Quake. Currently in the first half of The Fragile. I forgot how powerful We're In This Together Now is. 😵‍💫

I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail

I used to love getting the Secret Meeting zine in the post. Found them all while having a sort out and ended up reading them all. 😅

At my mum's, and she pulls out a box and says "I have something here for you. Your dad would've wanted you to have this.." unfortunately it wasn't a lightsabre, it's his old safety razor. Not the bladed weapon I was hoping for. 🤣

Watched Minority Report for the first time in about 15 years. It holds up really well, Spielberg's direction and William's score are both spot on. Something a bit Hitchcock about the whole affair, the music definitely channels North By North West.

My favorite artifact in the "you don't need AI to do art" discourse is, of course, screenwriter Dan O'Bannon's sketch of the facehugger to explain it to Giger.

Still deliberating over what to run at the sci-fi convention North Star in May. I was going to run Star Wars but there's ready at least 3 on offer. So, it's a sort of sequel to the Dune investigation game I ran last time, or some faced-paced Alien? 🤔

I've always loved the worlds created by Paul McAuley in his books. The setup in Something Coming Through feels ripe for a RPG. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somethi...

The new Muppet Show on Disney+ is a lot of fun. They've managed to capture the magic. I wasn't prepared for Sabrina Carpenter and Kermit the Frog singing Islands In The Stream. Wonderful stuff. 😍

A timely and rather wonderful piece of live theatre performed by Sir Ian McKellen on The Late Show. The whole interview is brilliant, but his rendition of this speech from Sir Thomas Moore. Perfection.

A night out with my uncle Alan's best mate Phil tonight. Really good to see him. Plus I found out what really happened that night after they saw Zappa play at the Apollo in 1979! But that's a story for another time. 😅

Evri work on quantum principles: they can tell you the velocity of your parcel, or its position, but never both.

If they say it's on its way, they've no idea where it is.

If they know where it is, its stuck somewhere and not moving.
