Should be ashamed of this interview with Donald Trump normalizing everything that he's doing, especially talking about a third term when the Constitution does not say a third term and The Fed not being independent, how disrespectful to the American people and the Constitution.

In a democracy, we are supposed to feel like we have control over our lives because the people control the government.

But in the U.S., people feel like our lives are out of control because the people don’t control the federal government.

Absolutely lazy for the White House to blame a random staffer for the racist AI post. Trump posted it himself in the middle of the night, as he has many, many times. Plus, they’ve posted plenty of other offensive shit—remember when he used AI to show himself napalming Chicago?

I'm calling bullshit on the media narrative that Trump is "pivoting" and "deescalating" on his ICE raids. The threshold is this: As long as the military occupations and the treatment of US cities as enemy territory continue, there's no pivot. ICE out. 1/

Donald Trump Is Frightened
Trump wants to appear eager to minimize out-of-control clashes between government militias and protesters. But he doesn’t want to stop the things causing those clashes in the first place.

But their industry trade groups actively lobbied for Trump's Big Ugly Bill, which boosted ICE's budget by $75B.

They used it to call their lawyer, who called their state representative, who ultimately got them released on the condition they tell people they were “treated kindly.”

people aren't even saying "this is unamerican" that much but when they do say it I think they usually mean that it's against the american ideals they believe in. but the important thing here is to throw a wet blanket on people risking their lives to disrupt ICE goons in the streets.
I fear my tipping point into madness is "Thus is un-American" posts in response to ICE terrorizing immigrants. I beg you to open Wikipedia (I would say a book but let's start small) and read up on The Trail of Tears, Fugitive Slave Catchers, Japanese internment, Indian Boarding schools & Jim Crow
