Would be easier if they had loads of cameras and a team looking at such things.

How on earth is Zubemendi the first player to be booked given the fouls made by Sunderland

This is fascinating from a British perspective, where if a PM suggested remodelling Downing Street to make it a functional, modern work place, we'd lynch them.

The best thing about this headline/picture combo is it makes it look like the two goats were the ones that tried to get EU funds.

Arteta needs to go in hard on Jarred Gillett and the pen decision, so hard that he never referees us ever again.

Don’t let a famous win distract from that point

It’s becoming more and more pointless every season. The PGMOL, the ridiculous narratives being fed to us by TV companies that more or less control the game. It’s done.

I don't remember him saying this last season when Arsenal played away at Atalanta on the Thursday before playing away at City on the Sunday!
Strong stuff from Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva, as he hits out at the schedule.

Says it was not fair that City had such a short turnaround for yesterday's trip to Arsenal.

Last season Arsenal went away to spurs on the Sunday, away to Atalanta on Thursday night and city away the following Sunday.

You didn’t hear a word from city about fixture scheduling then

We could play all night and we still wouldn’t score. Same as against Liverpool. Dire and very worrying.

Is not paying 40k in a housing tax as the housing minister reasonably minor?

Especially when said minister attacked opposition MPs at any slight indiscretion
get why she had to go but irksome she lost her job to something quite complex and, let's be honest, reasonably minor in the grand scheme of things, when shadow cabinet members get to merrily hang out with Eddie Swastika without any repercussions

Don’t let Jamie Carragher or any Liverpool fan gaslight you on net spend.

The cost to acquire Isak, Ekitike & Wirtz this summer was £320,000,0000.

That is the value assigned to the talent of those players & that is the value everyone should use to measure their output.

Plucky underdogs Liverpool dropping another £125 million on a single player again, is it?
September 1, 2025 at 6:05 AM
You’d think that Liverpool were plucky underdogs against a side that had spent billions in the summer judging by the media reaction.

The state of the media in this country is so bad. They just want clickbait nonsense rather than actual discussion on what happened

A lot of pundits seem to simultaneously believe that Liverpool are the favourites to win the league and Arteta must win it or he is a failure, which would only make sense if Arsenal were the favourites.

Liverpool, who are supposed to have this high-flying, lethal attack, are being let off the hook for creating basically nothing at home against Arsenal because of a worldie, 1 in 100 free kick.
