Lotta talk at the moment about AI voice theft chatbots atm. Not linking to sites because fuck that. Those familiar with my opinion on AI can probably guess my response, but to be clear: I consider the users of such chatbots to be hollow wastes of breath who are actively murdering their own souls.

Stop fucking uploading transcripts as well. Those are there for accessibility for people who need them not for your sick games. The creators, or the fans who lovingly put them together for their favourite shows did not do that so you could feed them to the plagiarism machines. Disgusting behaviour.

I really loved this piece. When I first started formulating what became @localfiles.club, my driving question was Why is the default in indie audio drama free? Or, as Keelin puts it: "What should we pay for, how should we pay for it... Especially when people are used to podcasts being mostly free."
