Looks like the Lloyds takeover means that anyone who invested in Curve via one of the Crowdcube funding cycles has basically just pissed their money up the wall.

Lesson learned. I'll stay well away from Crowdcube in the future.

Two people debating the language of immigration on the Today Programme, the more ‘progressive’ of which is a writer for the Telegraph.

Jeez!

I asked AI how I could tell if an image had been generated using AI. It gave a list of things such as strange finger count, skin colour a bit off, over-white porcelain teeth, etc. But I think thought I was asking how to tell if someone is from Essex.

Saved about a grand on a new phone today by stacking promotions on the Samsung website. On the one hand, brilliant. But on the other hand phones shouldn't be so fugging expensive in the first place!

Spotify going up a quid per month. Bastards.

If it wasn't for the fact that it integrates smoothly with my car I'd move. Bastards.

Free leccy from Octopus for three hours (although I don’t think the credits are always correct).

Just seen a post where someone says it’s a good time to switch on the emulsion heater. It’s either a lovely typo, and even lovelier malapropism, or else they own a paint factory.

The calm before the storm today at Wakehurst Place. Fantastic place to visit.

Seems their big sister @rbgkew.bsky.social is here on BlueSky but not Wakehurst. Shame.

Downdetector showing loads of problems out there right now. Looking for a pattern, perhaps a chunk of AWS has fallen over.

As predicted 35 years ago by Depeche Mode.
Virtual Jesus? People of faith divided as AI enters religion.

One app, which is called Text with Jesus, has thousands of paying subscribers. It lets people ostensibly ask questions of Mary, Joseph, Jesus and nearly all 12 apostles
