I guess the urinals are connected directly to the draught Budweiser taps. The ice means it’s served chilled.

Lorries on their speed limiter shouldn't be allowed to try to overtake other lorries on their speed limiter - they take for ever.

And if it's a road than only has two lanes then the punishment is death.

Early? It’s afternoon already in the civilised world!

I don‘t think accepted wisdom really needs to be anonymous.

The SMLight device actually has multiple radios. I don't the zbt-2 does?
November 21, 2025 at 6:03 PM
There was a real missed opportunity for the -2 to be zigbee, threads, and even the zwave from the zwa-2. A real swiss-army knife device.

Still, it leaves the market open for someone else to do it. The slzb-mr1 is 2/3rds of the way there.

(Maybe even add 433mhz for good luck, too!)

I’m disappointed that the zbt-2 is an either/or setup - I think many people would be better off with something like a slzb-mr1. Much better future proofing.

They last even longer with Calgon.

That was before BBC1. It was the BBC Television Service in 1953. It wasn’t renamed BBC1 until 1962.

But I can tell that you absolutely *love* flashing them. If they all lost their licence you’d have to find something else to get curmudgeonly about.

The crucial thing with a pension is to start early. Really early. Even small sums tucked away in your 20s can compoundly(*) grow to become much bigger sums.

(*) I just invested a new word.

I used to *really* wind up a massive Lisp aficionado colleague by pronouncing it… well…. you can guess.
