most likely the worst politician of our lifetime. schoolboy clegg sold his supporters out for a taste of power, and did so enough to allow the tories time to set the framework for another decade in power, while decimating his own party's support in a way they will never recover from. human filth
If I had to write ‘How They Broke Britain’ all over again, Nick Clegg would get at least a chapter. An agent of immeasurable harm.

Honoured to receive this signed Ukrainian flag from mayors and business leaders visiting Scotland for the Re-Birth Ukraine conference.

Scotland stands with Ukraine as they fight for freedom and democracy, and we will stand with Ukraine as they rebuild. 💛💙

There is a way to embarrass the hell out of the BBC over this.

A mass vote for Lineker as Presenter of the Year at the National Television Awards.

A massive slap to the collective face of the Genocide apologist cadre running the BBC

We have exceeded our pledge to deliver 64,000 NHS surgeries and procedures by the end of March 2025.

By the end of January, with two months to go, we’ve already delivered over 75,500.

And with the record NHS funding in our Budget, @thesnp.bsky.social will keep reducing waiting times.

Without economic democracy, the economy only works for the rich. Who decides wages and pay? Executives. Who selects executives? Board members. Who elects board members? Rich shareholders. This is a system that benefits the wealthy at the expense of the rest.

Democracy in our economy is vital. 1️⃣

Employee Ownership is popular. Workers prefer more secure employment, greater benefits and compensation, and a happier workplace. Who knew.

Think different in 2025:

Find and support businesses that are actually doing the right thing. Money talks—spend it where it matters.

need to go further than that. the only shareholders should be the workers themselves.

the best shareholders are those who know the work itself and the workers are the people who should be prioritised by business.

all managers elected by workers. should be mandatory!
FTSE 100 CEO gets more in less than 3 days than average worker pay for a yr.

Median CEO pay £4.22m, 113 times average worker.

Nothing to do with performance. Shareholder objections ignored.

Need worker-elected directors on boards. Let workers vote on exec pay.

Good morning from a cold frosty Scotland 🥶

Just your annoying reminder that Scotland didn't vote to leave the EU and was subjected to a campaign of lies that shaded the Brexit lies. Maybe folks had wised up a bit afterwards
