There is a way to embarrass the hell out of the BBC over this.

A mass vote for Lineker as Presenter of the Year at the National Television Awards.

A massive slap to the collective face of the Genocide apologist cadre running the BBC

nothing needs to be paid for to be nationalised! attlee nationalised everything by giving the shareholders gov bonds to replace their equity, and using the profits of the companies to pay those bonds to maturity!

when they were nationalised by attlee, they didn't cost anything ... gov bonds used to replace the equity of the stockholders, profits used to pay these bonds to maturity ... wouldn't cost anything now to renationalise them

this is, of course, not to say that capital punishment is at all morally justifiable. just that this isn't an instance of barbarism, but rather of more humane execution than the ones they spend millions developing that are tantamount to torture

the firing squad is actually the most humane method of execution.

multiple executioners, most of whom have blanks, to reduce their mental burden. near instant death, unlike the agonising, torturous pain of lethal injection / electric chairs. no chance of failure, as multiple shots are fired.

not sure what "this country" is referring to, but the fact that there exists legal loopholes doesn't mean that there shouldn't be laws on what corporations can do. it just means that those loopholes should be closed

you said "you can't tell a private company what to do"
February 2, 2025 at 7:42 PM
you'd certainly be screwed over if there were no anti trust laws, labour laws, and health and safety laws. a significant portion of the government's job is to tell private companies what to do

will keep you safe, but since the image of an angel can become an angel itself, you'll be sacrificing all your viewers
