RIP, President Carter. You were a good man, a role model to us all, and we were honored to live in your lifetime.

one of the things we are going to regret most about the last decade is not making cryptocurrency flat illegal. i think you should think hard about what it means to have much of the president's inner circle heavily invested in an asset class which depends on the collapse of the American economy.

Today I wore a jumpsuit. You know how jumpsuits are when you have to use the bathroom, and my brain does too.

The minute I left the house, my brain told me I was going to have to use the bathroom soon. It was lying, my subconscious was just panicking in anticipation.

The brain is something. 🤯🙄

Winnie had her annual visit to see Santa this week. They remembered each other, caught up on their respective years, and turned to me and smiled. ❤️

I was fully convinced I was going to witness a crash. My hands were in front of my face by the end.

Just stop moving when you hear/see sirens!!!

(And the audiobook makes it slightly surreal, IMO)

Him being a lush isn't even the story. Churchill was a lush. Hegseth bankrupted two non profits he ran that advocated for veterans. And he did it by using the funds for parties and strip clubs. And he's supposed to manage the Pentagon budget? GTFOH

Winnie got a new dog bed for Black Friday. I accidentally went a little large! Here’s the old on top of the new.

And I annoyed the sleeping princess. How dare I! 🙄😂

I'm just glad that the righteous journalists who lacked the courage to call out Trump for his multifarious lies and crimes have found the courage to stand against Joe Biden for pardoning his son over selective prosecution. You found your spines in a bucket of shit, and I give you your due credit.

Infusion time.

I’m over them, while also sincerely grateful they’re available. Side effects, multiple pokes, I’m just over it right now.

But the alternative is worse. Blah.

it's weird to dismiss the RIGHTS OF HUMAN BEINGS as "a culture war" as if **everything** isn't a facet of our culture

do people think culture is this thing, separate from them? something you can opt out of?
The real trap here is that the Republicans have made defending civil rights seem like a frivolous thing and a whole lot of liberals are falling in line. Even if it was a culture war, so what? This would be a war worth fighting. What are we even doing here, people? Get it together.

This isn't a culture war. This is the only trans congresswoman, ever being bullied through the press and legislation, and having only 1 of hundreds of colleagues stand up for her. They can do more than 1 thing at a time. Defending her will not take so much effort that they can't do their jobs.
Defending Sarah McBride is absolutely the right thing to do, and yet there’s also the risk of being baited into yet another culture war cycle that distracts from the Republican grift. Her statement suggests she wants to move forward, and I think it’s wise to take the cue from her.

Every single Tribal Nation has their own history, language, traditions, and even system of governance.

So, I beg you all to be mindful of the language you use. If you want to protect our sovereignty and rights as Native peoples, say it with me. NATIVE IDENTITIES ARE NOT RACIAL.

I hate the new look of Apple Mail in iOS. It’s too busy!

Also, put my supermarket back to its old layout. I still can’t go directly to what I need, and I hate walking all the aisles.

Stop changing things, dammit! 👵🏾
