When they suddenly required people to check in on a weekend, the community showed up. They only took appointments for a few hours then didn't show up at all the next day

My contact at the Port of Seattle was unable to confirm these rumors as of 20 minutes ago. They have an executive who actively monitors these situations with airport operations and Port police.
Border patrol maintains an office at SeaTac so they are likely to be seen there.

Seattle has to import our Proud Boys from Portland so no, I don't believe there are enough amateur fascist thugs to stop elections, even if they only focused on blue counties.

He has no business working in the nonprofit sector. Operating an HOA board seems more appropriate for his level of cluelessness and authoritarianism.

I watched him snipe at board members, including a time where showed a clear lack of understanding of what the role of a board is — implying that board oversight was a conflict of interest, and that an executive should not be involved in board training and development (!?!)

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.
And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”
Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

Just so people outside of MN know - a lot of the US citizens getting “arrested” by ICE never get processed at Whipple. They are roughed up during the arrest and then often dropped off miles from where they were picked up. It means we don’t know the true scale of what ICE is doing based on ICE stats

The Washington House just approved HB 1175, which would legalize neighborhood corner stores & cafes statewide. The bill was sent directly to the House floor after being approved in committee last session.
A last minute amendment dropped suburbs with fewer than 5,000 people. The vote was 94-2.
