The best part of the march today is when the demonstrators started chanting "ICE DEEZ NUTS" (objectively hilarious) and after a bit the little old lady marching near me leans close and says, "So . . . I just don't know what that means." And I had to explain it to her.

Also ICE response is reactive. What do they gain from being in RR chats? They already know where they are! What do they gain from being in patrol chats? There are people filling every shift. What do they gain from seeing names/usernames? It's not illegal to talk to neighbors. Opsec not so important.

We are currently clean-ish on OPSEC
1/ A lot of replies to this 🧵 questioning if we’re dopes about operational security. No one who’s been involved awhile thinks we’ve got anything approaching total op-sec; smarties assume 0. BUT op-sec is like constitutional rights: even if they’re being compromised, use it or you’re conceding it.
I know people keep saying this but it’s hard to communicate the depth of active resistance here. Like, I’m on random cafes and people are checking in for observation shifts. Signs everywhere. Folks in visibility vests on the corners. It’s wild. Absolutely wild.

MN protestors #protip put 2 Idaho Russets in the oven at 420 degrees for 45 min, take them out and foil wrap, 1 in each pocket before you go out. Theyll stay warm for 3-4 hours even in this weather and you can eat em when you like. They used to send us kids out like this back in the 70s trust me.
