I don't understand the concept of time. I saw that a book was published in 2005 and thought: "Oh, that was 5 years ago."

Don't lionize Gavin Newsom, folks. I'm glad he can stand up to Trump, but never forget the harm he does to his own constituents and his betrayals of labor, etc. He is a piece of shit who knows how to play for the cameras.

I would have personally preferred it if the administration had done this to Illinois because a less bad democratic governor would be getting all the attention, but this is real life and you don’t get to choose such things

Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice.
