We’re not at Trump’s mercy. A country with 340M people can only fail if we allow it. If we organize, protest, donate, speak out, vote, demand more from our gov and make good trouble, we’ll be okay. I think the entire U.S. media needs to spend an afternoon in the African American History Museum tbh.

The below was my experience too. My parents took us to Italy to spend time with our Italian family, where I learned that there are simply too many ways to do any one thing for any one country to have a hammerlock on "best way." No nation is "the best." Except gelato is the best ice cream!
This guy really doesn’t understand immigrant communities. For many of us our parents made sure we saw their home country. It’s a right of passage and connects the fragmented lines of our lineages and ancestors cut by emigration.
