Getting this one out early. No need for conspiracies: PGMOL are bad. Their culture is bad. Their leadership is bad. Their talent pool is weak. And they have no effective oversight. All of this means poor performance is inevitable and immutable. Until they are replaced, the refereeing will be bad 💁🏻‍♂️

I'm tired of seeing the term underage girls, underage women. Children -- say children.

They are preying on children.

The “rest and heal” part of this international break is really not playing ball… 😫

Outside of Motorsport, this is easily one of my favourite ever sporting moments. A petulant child getting his comeuppance, on the pitch at least. Even sweeter when it's against my country 😹

If you don't want 40 and 50 year old adult men flopping around on top of your own 15 year old kid, nut up and ditch your demagogue and protect someone ELSE'S 15 year old.

I’m not the biggest Phil Foden fan, but that bobbling four yard pass he gave to Eze today was something else. More of an invitation than a pass really. Put Eze in a position where all he had to do was hit a bobbling ball into the postage stamp from an acute angle first time. harder not to score tbh

What you want from a functional, thriving superpower is every reporter in the country spending all day combing through a cache of documents that all say, more or less, “hi [rich ruling class person], it was good seeing you last week for all the child sex crimes!”

Can we just take a minute and acknowledge that our POTUS is right OUT IN THE OPEN lobbying Congressional members to vote against releasing the Epstein files?! Like... what the fuck else does anyone even need to know?

We are at the point in Donnie Darko where it is confirmed that the guy did the bad things to the kids, and anyone left supporting him is 100% that delusional crackpot lady who is 9/10ths Kool-Aid 💁🏻‍♂️

My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

The break comes at the right time for Arsenal - not because there’s any real cause for introspection, but because they need some players back.

What #AFC have produced across this period provides them with a great platform.

And the cavalry are coming.

Arsenal have two weeks to rest and regroup. The break comes at the perfect time
The draw at Sunderland showed that Mikel Arteta's squad is being stretched thin. The international window will suit the manager
