Council member @cmalexaaviles.bsky.social was the only elected who spoke at the rally, I think. She did two amazing things.
First, she told ICE to "Get the fuck out of New York."
Second, she told people their rights, including don't answer any questions and don't open the door.

By @gelliottmorris.com’s estimate, between 1.5 and 2 percent of the population turned out for No Kings on Saturday. That’s pretty damn good. We need to do more but always remember how important it is to dispel any sense that the administration is feared and has things under control.
