The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

I am once again saying that we saw what wall to wall, panic coverage of a crisis looked like after the Biden debate and there’s no reason Trump isn’t getting that kind of coverage except for class solidarity.
So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

The purpose of austerity budgets is always to transfer public wealth into private hands. And in a country like Canada that always means a transfer to the same handful of domestic oligarchs and resource extraction multinationals.

When a regular person kills one person, they go to prison. When a politician kills millions of people, they get an obituary in the New York Times.
Dick Cheney, widely regarded as the most powerful vice president in American history, who was George W. Bush’s running mate in two campaigns and his most influential White House adviser in an era of terrorism, war and economic change, died on Monday. He was 84. nyti.ms/4nADo6Y

Follow up question: if someone with a regular job answered "I don't know" to as many questions as you do, do you think they'd be fired?
RAJU: Last week you were very critical of Biden's use of the autopen. But Trump admitted on 60 Minutes to not knowing he pardoned a crypto billionaire who pleaded guilty to money laundering. Does that also concern you?
MIKE JOHNSON: I don't know anything about that. I didn't see it. I'm not sure.

I'm getting more and more angry that this man used everyone's fear of Poilievre and some tough talk he didn't believe in to trick the country into voting for him.
“The president was offended by the act, or by the ad, rather,” Mr. Carney told reporters. “It’s not something I would have done — which is to put in place that advertisement — and so I apologized to him.”
