That Clyburn thinks Andrew Cuomo is part of the future of the Democratic Party - and points to his character!!! — is the problem with the current Democratic Party leadership in a nutshell.

It's unacceptable that 3,000 grocery workers in Minnesota have been without a union contract for 3 months.

It's time for the CEOs of Cub Foods, Knowlan's & Haug's to end their outrageous corporate greed, negotiate in good faith with the UFCW & treat their workers with respect.

We need movements for real change, led by Idealists, who believe change is possible, Organizers, who build coalitions and practical strategies, Visionaries, who imagine better futures. Anyone out there fitting this description? Let’s do this!

The way the Senate got steamrolled today—you’d think we were in the minority.

Heartbreaking day for immigrants, communities of color, and our base.
This is beyond fucked up.

Apparently the only thing off the table in this budget deal is asking the wealthy to pay their fair share.

Ok some good news. The Twin Cities has one of the nation’s largest car-sharing fleets. 90% of their trips are now electric. Usage is up, membership is way up. I’d note: HourCar is not a VC play, it has been serving the region as a non-profit for 20 years.
In 2024, drivers made over 191,000 trips using car-sharing services in the Twin Cities. Of those trips, 90% were in electric vehicles! Learn why more and more people are choosing to ditch their cars and opt for car-sharing instead! @startribune.com

The Evie electric car network will expand in four St. Paul neighborhoods this year.

Kelly Rogers is a student and Ward 2 resident.

She has studied the intersections of race and space in 20th-century American cities at the U.

And as a student, she’s seen firsthand the harms of private equity’s growing hold on the student rental housing market.

Congratulations, St. Paul electeds: you're the dog the caught the car. Yet again, you sold out the renters of your city who passed rent control via direct democracy. When building doesn't take off overnight, what will you blame instead? Shame on you.

Lesch is straight up arguing college students should not be allowed to vote at all in Minnesota. Setting aside voter suppression and disenfranchisement, that seems like that would be a bad precedent to set for the DFL's ongoing ability to win elections.
Lesch is straight up abandoning legal argumentation to make his real case: students should not be allowed to take part in the Ward 2 Convention. It's fucking gross.

Tomorrow, nearly 300 unsheltered people in Minneapolis will be at the mercy of the storm, because our mayor’s ego is too big and he has to maintain the lie that unsheltered homelessness is down to 27 people.

Dismantling the legal and regulatory frameworks that hollowed out cities, transferred wealth to the suburbs, and then made it financially prohibitive to return is one of the great projects of urbanism.
