There we go, fam. If Anime Matsuri DOES happen this year, it looks like there's an extremely high likelihood that it's not gonna come back to the George R. Brown Convention Center that it's been in for years & years. There was no hiding it anymore. Attendance has been hemorrhaging, they gotta move.
Finally, the bombshell everyone's been waiting for - my source at Houston First just informed me they do not have Anime Matsuri currently scheduled for any 2026 dates at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Doesn't mean they're not gonna try to have it anywhere else but verrrrry interesting.

I will never back down on my stance that Dagwon is a fascinating show to watch late into your mecha and or Toku watching career because of how it attempts to play with the familiar but in a way only 30 year old man trying to remember what being a kid was like could do

I wonder why fantasy video games so often allow you to play as a dwarf or halfling or whatever they call the shorter species of humanoids and allow you to romance any of the romanceable characters, but conversely don't really give you characters in those veins to romance?
