What sucks is the English speaking fandom still doesn't realize how few mecha shows actually made it over here and have zero context on how they were received in Japan. Like most people would balk at the idea that the J9 shows were a pillar of BL fandom and yet it's all over the place.

First time I realized I wasn't on the same page as Don Rosa was when in an editorial of the Zio Paperone magazine publishing the first Three Caballeros story he wrote there was a blurb saying that he DID take a look at the Brazilian Zé stories but he didn't like them

It is insane how inevitable this felt - that the industry has forced itself into a corner ensuring that every FPS team has to work on a competitive service shooter that has a 99% chance of crashing on launch.
Wildlight (Highguard) lays off staff according to a LinkedIn post
"Unfortunately, along with most of the team at Wildlight, I was laid off today.
This one really stings as there was a lot of unreleased content I was really looking forward to that I and others designed for Highguard."
