I am a liberal, maybe even progressive sometimes, maybe even a little socialist at some times, but I don’t really care to call myself a Democrat though I do vote that way because MY ideology is not tied to THEIR label. If they stop lining up with MY principles, buh-bye.

The only path to a real opposition party is through a cleansing primary season. We have spent a year trying to convince the Democratic Party to unify and fight back — but at some point, you’ve got to either change your leaders’ minds or change your leaders. And the time for changing minds is over.

The U.S. is already producing more oil than any nation in history, and oil companies are sitting on thousands of unused leases in our public waters. this plan is nothing more than another giveaway to Big Oil—at the expense of taxpayers, coastal economies, and our climate. We won’t stand for it.

True story. A co-worker’s husband called to rant at her because he got to his car insurance agency at closing time and the receptionist didn’t open the door for him. He then went around the building and practically chased her to her car in outrage. Give you one guess what his political party is.
