Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

As someone who knows far too much about concussion and the associated protocols etc, a ‘cooling cap’ won’t hurt; it may improve recovery time for some; it may alleviate symptoms but surely we should be erring on the side of caution and having players sit out for as long as necessary and then some.
