Grok is awful; it's the very worst example of what running AI without any guardrails and concern for harm looks like. But let's not forget that it's people - and let's be clear here, those people are men - who are telling Grok to make those images.

The actual last Temptation of Christ, according to the bible, was the suggestion that he elide spiritual and political power.
It's an impulse that bedevils pretty much all religions, inc Christianity.
For the avoidance of any doubt, it was a hard no from Jesus.

You know the way AI results often take time to appear, and scroll slowly down the screen? Is that because the AI engines do actually work at that pace, or is it pure theatre designed to give the impression there is some kind of thought process going on?
