No one has to know who I am.

I wonder how much of the masking has to do less with protecting agents from being doxed and more to do with protecting the government from us finding out how many of the agents are know figures from the world of white nationalists, Jan 6ers, accelerationists, and militias, or just plain unqualified.
Law enforcement officers have always been unmasked in this country until ICE started wearing them last year.

*That* is the departure from norms. *That* is the step too far.
Tillis says he opposes ICE being barred from wearing masks: "I've seen people dox me. I've seen people take pictures and identify law enforcement officers and then put their families at risk. So, I think that's a step too far."

It is wild to me that a military incursion to steal another country’s resources so the president can have a personal slush fund in Qatar is like the 5th most scandalous thing currently happening.
this is a straightforward impeachable offense for trump, vance, rubio and every other person down the line who enabled it and the framers would have thought impeachment for it did not go nearly far enough
Marco Rubio: "The oil proceeds are being deposited into an account that ultimately will become a US Treasury blocked account here in the US. We will say 'this is what this money can be spent on.' They will submit to us a budget request -- 'we want to use the money on these things.'"

Funny how after thinking the Left finally got one of the religious right twerps, then that the Cabal shot a man who wouldn't shut up about them, then that Fuentes had something to do with it, now it's just like,

oh, Mrs Grifter had Mr Grifter killed, huh?

Russian regime is no longer in a position to make demands.

Soldiers are dying like flies, tank depots are empty, planes are being destroyed one after another and allies drop out.

Collapse is imminent.

it is the same playbook everywhere. “vote for us! we will make you great again by punishing the people you hate! do not pay attention to the fact that we’re also shoveling your money into the pockets of the uber wealthy and building a giant boot to step on your face too (preferably forever)”
The UK version of “Project 2025” by the Reform party includes a British ICE, a concentration camp for 24,000 people, mass surveillance and withdrawing from refugee, anti-torture and anti-trafficking conventions.

It’s on their website. That’s how comfortable fascists are in the UK today.

Canadian ONLINE spaces are full of Russian bots pretending to be Canadians eh? But every time anyone tries to hold an OFFLINE racist rally here they are dwarfed by the counter-protest. There are racists in Canada, no argument, but the comments section is not a demographic poll. Don't use it as one
She's correct. Canadian Reddit & FB are rife with comments like "I'm not racist, but I see so many immigrants around me and blablabla jobs housing blablabla". You can't "see" who is an immigrant and who isn't. If you encounter this rhetoric online or offline, shut it down immediately each time.
“There are too many immigrants” is a euphemism for “there are too many Black and brown ppl coming to Canada”. Good luck to those landlords out there who rely on international students to rent out their basement for four or five ppl. Lucrative indeed

Ask voters which party they support on *deportations*, or civil rights — or what their preferred policy is vs status quo. Individual party trust questions are not the end all be all, and currently Dems lead on the question “Which party do you trust to handle the country’s most important problem?”
Yep! Data consistently show voters still trust Republicans on immigration. Voters only approve of Trump's border security policy and literally nothing else.
People are conflating the negative polls reflecting opposition to ICE/CBP goon squads disrupting US cities with a massive shift towards more lenient immigration & border policies that's basically wishcasting. This will matter more in 2028 than 2026.

yes, there are no real signs of any big change in DHS activity here yet. In Chicago there really was after Bovino left and they basically ended "Midway Blitz" not so here so far.
I don’t know, declaring victory in MN seems premature. They’re still arresting people and brutalizing the community. The changes appear—so far—to be cosmetic
