The high proportion of US scientists among those recruited by France shows that “enthusiasm and morale for doing science is low” in the US, says Sharon Milgram, who led early-career researcher programs at NIH for nearly 20 years, until she retired in December.

The head of the NIH is calling for a second scientific revolution. And he's looking to RFK's MAHA movement for support.

My report from a very strange afternoon with senior NIH leadership, in which I probably seriously up my odds of ending up uninvited to any future events.
NIH head, still angry about COVID, wants a second scientific revolution
Can we pander to MAHA, re-litigate COVID, and improve science at the same time?

Cerebellum is best known for its role in motor control BUT decades of research show only 20% of its circuits are motor with remaining 80% involved in emotion, cognition and so many other things. Excellent podcast illustrating these non-motor functions.
