Side note; We urgently need a forensic audit of the so called NZTPU. This kind of imported disinformation & slander is what is ripping our democracy apart & propelling us toward far right extremism. #nzpol
Oh they don't even have to wait for the inquiry - they're going to milk this for months.

The left could be fucked - Labour down, no left bloc even possible

It is going to be interesting over the next nine months to see how much misinformation #ACT & #AtlasNetwork try to flood media & social media with.
And don't forget that the Atlas influence is showing up to a large degree in both #National & #NZFirst

Thank you Veolia for putting your profits before the environmental safety of marine ecosystems in New Zealand.

This wasn’t an unfortunate accident it was years in the making “The warnings about Veolia….were sounded long before Wednesday’s sewage disaster www.thepost.co.nz/politics/360...

Comment from Victoria University: Sewage spills such as the one in Wellington can have multiple effects on marine life

Councillor Julie Fairey has spent much of her political career advocating for safer, more connected streets in Auckland. When a driver struck her bike, it became personal.

Her message is an important one for us all.

TIME magazine just released its new cover focused on Minneapolis, calling it “The Siege of an American City.” More than 3,000 federal agents have been deployed in the city in what’s being described as the largest immigration enforcement operation in U.S. history.

Absolutely outrageous.

This is so wrong, *Auckland* is sewage in the water, Wellington is sewage in the *streets*.
Sewerage on the beach, again.

How does it happen?

Years of underinvestment due to successive governments and councils using the promise of low rates for home owners to win votes.

It was always just kicking the can down the road and we’ve reached the end of the road.

Like puking in their mouths about sewage in the ocean where we swim kinda squeamish?

Fuck privatisation, fuck libertarians
Reports lay bare criticisms of Veolia’s management of Wellington’s wastewater plants, but it was retained because of the high costs and risks in terminating the $170m contract.

David Seymour says Kiwis are too squeamish about privatisation – history shows why they lost the appetite
The ACT Party leader believes government assets should provide a return or be sold. But a majority of New Zealanders are consistently opposed to more privatisation.
