Apologies for the sarcasm but I can't help myself. It's probably best to assume I'm being sarcastic unless there's a frowny face.

Descriptions of pictures available but as 99.99% of people who look at my profile can see, I'll wait for requests.

I had never heard about the NAZI connotations of Joy Division before Susssan Ley raised the issue.

Was I naiive or had others been similarly ignorant?

Russell Crowe has torn into Sussan Ley for trying to smear PM Albo after he wore a Joy Division Band T-Shirt.
“What’s the point of that? We all know it’s a band name. What are you f**king talking about?”🔥 #auspol #AlboPM

It didn't start with #Whitlam! Politicians have been engaging in sneaky plots & coups since ancient Greece.

The same people who take pride in their own chicanery at other times seem to think we should all be eternally angry because of this one incident.

In a speech at Old Parliament House on Monday night, PM Albanese has said the dismissal of Gough Whitlam on 11 November 1975 was a "calculated plot, hatched by conservative forces", firing up a decades-long debate. There is no denying that.

If worker pay grew at the same pace as CEO pay, today’s typical worker would make a staggering $431.80 per HOUR (including benefits).
Instead, today’s typical worker makes $36.49 per hour — while CEOs make 280 times that on average.
The system is rigged.

John Laws is dead. One of Australia's most successful broadcasters. As a teenager I rang his show. We argued for 10mins on air. He hung up on me with the words "you're obviously a loser in life & going nowhere. Goodbye."

Politicians must be polite about dead shock jocks.

It's so all those other odious men who're still bloviating on programs around the country don't start to think he'd speak ill of them after they die.

Before we shoot for more ambitious targets how about we try to hit one of the targets we set ourselves.

Australia & other countries have history of setting high targets then putting grossly insufficient effort into achieving them.

Poverty exists because public resources have been stolen and given away.

Our economy should be measured by how the bottom 30% are doing in the supermarket not how the top 1% are doing in the stock market.

Charity is an admission of government failure.
