SA makes international headlines, conveniently forgetting a few facts. Like the states largest company = Santos.
South Australia's largest company is Santos, backed and loved by the Premier + Penny Wong. Who's completely and utterly owned by fossil fuel companies now? Why don't we just call the state Santos Australia to recognize State Capture?

A new High Court case is set to challenge the constitutionality of Australia’s political donation laws. It is the third such case currently on foot, and if successful it could help level the playing field for independents and minor parties.

I’m skeptical of climate researchers using economic terminology that not even economists understand 😉. How about we just stop using fossil fuels and care for habitat and country generally. Within those parameters, and as long as we distribute wealth fairly, we get to do whatever we want.

Not only does it stink, it’s corrupt.

Whether it’s defence or fossil fuel jobs, the revolving door needs to be slammed shut.
Defence says its a 'benefit to our nation' to have people leave Defence to join US arms dealers.

I am not so sure.

How many migrants did Oz absorb in 50s & 60s,relative to our population then?I'm old enough to remember people moaning about dirty Greeks, mafia Italians, whingeing Poms, mad Yugoslavs, etc. but Australia seems to have survived all that pollution of our purity. Maybe they've even added to our 'values'.

Thinking of you. Can anyone help?
The property I'm renting has been sold & I have to vacate by March 5, but I haven't been able to find a new property. The prospect of being homeless at 80 terrifies me. I am focussing on the Mornington Peninsula, but am willing to consider just about anywhere. If you are aware of something DM me.

Me too. Then we had the wonderful Musical ‘Wogs out of WorK’ and saw our # biases were unfair and stated to build a multicultural nation that celebrated our global connections. Our Arts are #critical and are also being heavily censored.
I can remember the '50s and '60s when Greeks and Italians were looked down on. They were known as wogs and dagos etc. Now they're are revered as pioneers and many of their children serve in public life and no one vilifies them. One day, hopefully that will be true for Muslims and Hindus etc.
