I won't disclose how long I sat, watching & waiting to capture this video but I am going to tell you, the actual speed of the transformation took 8 minutes. In order to share this with you, I sped up the video 8 times.

Why does everything now require an app and a billion sided web of verifications & passwords, just to look at something in your own file? 😒

Yes, I have lots to do. No, I'm not neglecting doing them. Every "huminsect" I make, while doing "important stuff", is literally a 5 second epiphany with a minute of assembly, after which I carry on with the boring stuff that is the lot of a person teaching their offspring how to "life" 💜

The glue will dry overnight and tomorrow I'll see what else this "huminsect" needs to complete his look. The discarded grasshopper mask fitted him very well so far. 😁 He's only 2 cms tall 😊

Thinking I might make more of these "huminsects" 🤔 The proportions fascinate me & I have plenty of discarded insect bits I can source from the garden 😊

Now the nursery is empty 🦋 The last chrysalis has given us a male Orchard Swallowtail butterfly ♥️🦋 This one didn't stick around for a photo op 🤭

14 nuts, paired with screws, no problem. 15'th nut, won't catch. The screw just spinning in it and falling out when I stop. Of course I'm going to get the only kit where one nut has no threading 🙄

Just ate some brownie crust. So nice and sweet. The taste lingering, I brushed my tongue along my teeth & found, what I believed to be a crumb of chocolate. Crunching into it with my teeth, I discovered it was pepper instead 😝 Now doubting the whole batch of brownies 😬

A big day of driving ahead. Possibly welcoming a new butterfly as well.
