The defensive reaction to a perceived threat 🤗 I touched this caterpillar gently to show you the reaction. This doesn't harm the caterpillar, it's a visual dissuasion to give a potential predator enough of a fright to lay off. The citrus smell the caterpillar sprays is an additional repellent 🥰🦋
