“I found her ring in the rubble, blackened, but I could still see our names engraved inside. I held it so tight it cut my palm. I didn’t feel it. All I felt was her absence.”

I talked with twenty people in Gaza after the ceasefire, who shared raw, heart-wrenching stories of grief, loss, and hope.

In fact, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS KIND OF THING.

YOU WERE NEVER THERE.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.
📣 MAJOR MAJOR PSA 📣

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR A PROTEST. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO "REGISTER" TO SHOW SOLIDARITY. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, AND PHONE NUMBER TO HAND OUT AND DISTRIBUTE MATERIALS.

YOU JUST SHOW UP.
also if you see a website about a “strike” or other large-scale protest, and they ask you to “sign up” by giving your personal information, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION! they are almost certainly honeypots! and any that might not be can easily be compromised!

To answer the number one comment here, the Internet Archive is OF COURSE mirrored and backed up in numerous places, including outside the USA, so even if jack-booted troopers were to kick in its San Francisco door it could be relaunched somewhere else.
The Internet Archive has to date downloaded 500 terabytes of US government websites, which it crawls at the end of every presidential term. The whole archive is fully searchable. This effort's housed by a donation-funded nonprofit, not a branch of the US government. blog.archive.org/2024/05/08/e...

The Trump administration is scrubbing the CDC’s website of documents on reproductive rights issues, sexual health, intimate partner violence, and more.

I'm trying to save them.

You can find the deleted docs at cdcguidelines.com - I'll be adding more over the weekend.

The people who made it knew that they would likely be charged with new crimes for having contraband cell phones
