Maybe we just let 30 guys who (mostly) got rich enough to buy baseball teams compete the same way in baseball that they competed to get the money they used to buy the baseball teams.

I wouldn't say this is a flex but it was something seeing Napoleon Dynamite opening weekend in a mostly empty theater and then watching that movie slowly become a very big deal over the next several months. Didn't see that one coming.

It's really been illuminating for a while now but especially the last year just how many so called tenets of conservatism there are that you never have to engage with in good faith ever again because it turns out conservatives don't give a shit about them. It's most of them!
