Gay. Cambridgeshire now, but originally Cornwall. Work is embedded software for Korean multinational. Liberal. Might be some K-pop...
The film is delightful and fun. Sony (also did Spiderverse) animation is great, and it has a more engaging story than might be expected from the title. When it comes to the songs, I personally prefer the gloating malice of My Idol, but Soda Pop's sunny subversiveness is just as sinister.
Have just added "Golden" and "Soda Pop" to my DJ sets because a) they're ridiculously catchy and danceable, b) they're climbing the charts and will be there for the summer, c) nerds will know the songs because they will all watch K-Pop Demon Hunters, and nerds are my specific audience for DJing.

The costs of Labour's first budget will hit those on lower incomes hardest. I get the politics, and realise that there is also the good that comes from increased revenue, but this is still somewhat depressing.
The Budget employer national insurance increase will mostly end up being passed to employees in the form of lower wages and reduced employment. A thread on why I'm disappointed by the Budget, and why this chart makes me sad.

I think it's a good read about stuff that matters, even if I'm a bit skeptical of the diagnosis and proposed cure.
‘Enshittification’ is coming for absolutely everything
The term describes the slow decay of online platforms such as Facebook. But what if we’ve entered the ‘enshittocene’?
