Well, well, well.
This ✨ Research Highlight ✨ discusses that, despite previous hopes that CBD might buffer cannabis harms in schizophrenia, a recent RCT found no protective effect, & even potential exacerbation
For those with schizophrenia, does cannabidiol make cannabis use safer?

Richer than Croesus plus poisonous ideology gets you this. The terrifying thing is that these people are now able to buy anything or anyone.
What Thiel is saying about tax havens = what Altman is saying about copyright:

"I can't be rich unless you let me steal from you."

This is how Broligarchs differ from oligarchs of yore: the latter tried to hide their thievery; the Broligarchs trumpet their entitlement to steal as a natural right.

And I’m certain that he’ll still expect to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for all the wars that he has brought to an end (I’ll be amazed if Hamas accept the terms of his Gaza “deal”).
The president just gathered the highest ranking officers in the military to tell them that he may order them to kill American citizens -- and that they better follow his orders. All in response to a series of crises that have no basis in reality.

I don't know how to yell any louder.

Interesting piece. This paragraph in particular contains information of which I was not previously aware.

This seems like good advice the way things are going but actually pretty complicated for those of us of a certain vintage. How do you sign up for this stuff without using traceable personal details? Burner phone for 3 factor verification etc? Make up the rest?
Everyone, post anonymously. Wear masks. Use VPNs. Do whatever you need to do, including completely reinventing yourself online with new nicknames and so on. It's getting serious. You think ICE is going to stop at immigrants? We're next and they've as good as said it just now.

@robinince.bsky.social - tell the truth. How much of tonight’s show was “The Universe & the Neurodiverse” that you did at the Fringe? Because a lot of it was “Ice Cream for a Broken Tooth” (minus the tap dancing).
