As a VA employee, I know how close these units are. My heart absolutely breaks for Alex's coworkers who had to act like it was just another day & put on a strong face for their patients today.

For years, American conservatives have preached about the 2nd Amendment, open carry, and federal authority, yet when a US citizen is shot by federal law enforcement, they rush to conclusions before any investigation has even begun. It has always been about hollow partisanship

I'm increasingly disappointed by a great number of things, but realizing that Captain Planet's villains being pitch-perfect to today's world is top five. Even as a kid, I thought they were so purposefully, unbelievably one dimensional & boring. Now I realize, too late, that's just how it is.
