I read Growth of the Soil, and I did feel like something wasn't clicking for me, but man I never would have guessed this.

Haiti as a political gamepiece is less headline worthy to me than US admin issuing travel bans like this.

Im excited about Martha Stewart Living Ssn 2. It's 1994. We have upgraded commitment to production...new music, soft glowy lighting, smoother scripts, fancier camera work. AND we have classic 90s ribbon crafts, genius ways to carve pumpkins, candied flowers, carving a chicken. Ive learned so much.

I'm reading this book "...And Ladies of the Club" that's the title and it's so wonderful and criminally heartwrenching. I am rigid with sadness. Helen Hooven Santmyer is tragically under-read and under-discussed.

I think the contradiction at the core of liberalism is pretty well illustrated by saying that it’s time to defend democracy like our life depends on it—but to do it in a way that is perfectly orderly and respectful of the law enforcement officers assaulting it
