This was one of the earliest games I remember playing other than super old DOS games - truly fantastic game with a great sense of humour. It's obviously very dated now but its story definitely still holds up if you can get past the late 90sness of it all!

LOL what? I love that the standard practice of taking 1-2 weeks off every year to rest and recharge is now something "experts" warn 'could come with long-term financial and career risks'. Anything to keep people chained to their desks and miserable I guess! 🫠

Retreating from the shadows to announce that after 200 hours I have 100%ed The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy! Holy shit that was a ride. What an achievement for Kodaka and Uchikoshi honestly. I really enjoyed my time with it (and have in fact played nothing else since it came out!) Go play it!

I like that my newly-voted-in Prime Minister seems like... a normal dude? Like, we'll see how he runs the country (he does seem qualified 🤞), but I also still remember the 'does Stephen Harper know what a kitten is' days, so seeing Carney crack jokes and seem human is nice.

This absolutely sums up my thoughts on chatgpt. I like using my brain! I like being ABLE to use my brain, and studies show the more you rely on chatgpt the less you're able to use your own brain. Why would I jeopardize something I value so highly to write an email I can write in 60 seconds anyway?!

The Geek Squad repair shop emailed me yesterday to ask me the questions the guy who accepted my laptop at the store basically refused to let me preemptively answer for them, because he assured me the "repair guys would assess it and figure it out". Who knew I had valuable insight? (Me, I did! ✋)

It's on its way back to the manufacturer now, and in 2-4 weeks I SHOULD get my baby back, repaired and functional once again!

Playing through Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, and this is such a goofy fun game. Right after I finished with the Danganronpa series I wanted more dark edgy stuff so I skipped Ace Attorney, but after The Shell part 3 and Higurashi back to back I wanted something lighter, and this is GREAT! 😄
