Americans having to bootleg broadcast news about our government’s offshored concentration camp is a level of fascism that immediately precedes democratic societies dropping leaflets on us from weather balloons.
And now someone has uploaded a version that wasn't filmed off a TV.

There's also the torrent link there, which is probably the fastest way to download the 60 Minutes segment on CECOT if you want to save the file locally to your computer.

People have historically, and rightfully, seen the evil of Guantanamo, Abu Gharib, and now CECOT for what it is, but I wish more people would also see the evil in our domestic prisons too. How we treat our most vulnerable, including prisoners, really sets the tone for our whole society.
I don’t mean to sound extreme, but I don’t think we should have torture camps for people with criminal records either.

It was hard to convince Americans torture is wrong as a moral principle during Bush's term, and that was with the debate about whether torture makes us safer. I'm afraid for a portion of Trump's base, that calculation matters less. Idea of torturing undocumented immigrants may even bring pleasure.

Also, a woman was handcuffed at a subway station in NYC (Franklin Ave) when she intervened asking why a delivery man was asked to show work permit by undercover agents. There is a video of that.

ICE is the gestapo, the media that doesn't shout it from the boldest possible front page headlines is complicit. the democratic party doing nothing about it is complicit. no one will save us, but us. It's defcon 1 and every minute we wait we get weaker

60 minutes CECOT segment. Recorded through my browser. HD quality. Not phone. Spread it around. If you're press, it's yours. Go nuts.

It's streaming on a Canadian website, but there is no telling for how long.

What is described here is systemic, incessant torture. CECOT is a torture prison that Trump has publicly praised. Weiss didn't want us to see it.

You know why we needed to close Guantanamo and prosecute our torturers a decade+ ago? Because the current administration is running concentration camps and torturing people, because they believe there are no consequences to fear.

You can very clearly see why someone whose job it is to protect war criminals would need this pulled from the airwaves: It’s visible proof the Trump administration is operating concentration camps.

Oh he's scared. You can tell because he's semi-coherent. It's easier for him to stay in topic when he's afraid.
Trump: "This whole thing with Epstein is a way to try to deflect from the tremendous success of the Republican Party ... I thought that was finished ... a lot of people are very angry that this continues."

This is absolutely insane. Ship design and development takes so many more years than this nitwit's attention span, and naval force planning is a complex logistical problem that needs to see out decades.

This is just the dumbest fucking shit.

Black Americans don't count as American to MAGA unless we parrot their rhetoric. (And really, not even if we sell out.)

Every homeowner should be barred from future votes on housing since the potential for gain is far higher than Jesse Zwick's piddly ass nonprofit salary.
In Santa Monica, the FPPC has disqualified pro-housing Councilmember Jesse Zwick from all future housing votes. They said that because he works for a housing non-profit, he’s “conflicted” and must recuse.

Pretty absurd. The NIMBY deep state strikes again.
