This isn’t symbolic. It’s a political and ethical refusal to engage with a platform that enables misogyny, racism, and violence against women and girls.

I actually do think the deeply toxic US version of ‘free speech’ being enforced digitally all over the world with very little regulation has been deeply detrimental to the rest of society. This form of digital imperialism has no place in the world.

Dog-whistle and factually incorrect. Ladies, raise your hand if you were sexually assaulted by a boy at school? I’d wager this or a family member is most women’s first experience of sexual violence

Is anyone else listening to the #bbcradio4 play whatever happened to baby Jane Austen? It is WILD and stars Rebecca front and maybe Jennifer Saunders? I’m at home with a bay and sort of can’t believe that this play is real. It is completely bonkers

They definitely do 'push' schools but it's worth remembering that some schools refuse to play the game. If nobody played it, the game wouldn't work. The profession needs to reflect on that imo along with 'outstanding' Ofsted banners while complaining about Ofsted.
