The EU is not a panacea for the problems of this country. It's more like a crowd of drunks holding onto each other just to stay upright. Until we can rid ourselves of the economic system that doesn't value our citizens, we are in a death spiral. But vested interests won't allow that.

President Clinton banned assault rifles in 1994, mass shootings dropped by 43%.

Republicans let the ban expire in 2004, and they increased 243%.

The USA is the only country where anybody can buy an assault rifle.

When we bought our flat 6 years ago, we'd previously been renting the same place for £490 a month. Rents in the building are now £900-1150. We live in a pretty poor area of Salford, it's absolutely appalling.
