Deportations actually _increase_ housing prices because they shrink the construction industry.

The reduction in new houses being built swamps effects from lower demand

Shooting for that South Minneapolis aesthetic in Plymouth.
People have driven over Bonnie Scott's yard and mowed it without her permission. Scott enlisted the police and a private detective to find the offenders — and now, some neighbors stay away from her property.
A lawsuit blooms in Plymouth as homeowner battles HOA over her naturally planted yard
Bonnie Scott’s fight with the Churchill Farms Homeowners Association could test the limit of Minnesota’s law protecting natural landscapes.

A student activist who gave his April paycheck to rebuild a church nursery when he hit poorly for the month because the Angels wouldn't take it back. Originator of the saying “If it wasn’t for the owner, Minnesota would be a great place to play.”

My prayer is that our city will again find our true north that protects and restores a democracy that affirms dignity, safety, and opportunity for everyone who calls Minneapolis home.

It was a pleasure to watch the growth of this campaign. Congratulations!
Thank you to District 5 for believing in our grassroots campaign that advocates for workers’ rights, environmental justice, expansion for youth programming, and the right for all to have equitable access to safe and healthy third spaces.

This was in our mailbox and does not have postage. I could raise a stink or let it be, since she's going to get pasted by @aurinmpls.bsky.social tomorrow anyway.

Minneapolis deserves a mayor who will work for every part of our city, one who will focus on outcomes, not promises. We deserve a mayor with vision, one who will work cooperatively with everyone, even if we sometimes disagree.

Here’s some of what I hope we can work on – together.

So nonpartisan that team Frey and the state DFL poured everything into making sure Fateh didn't get the party endorsement. Don't rank Frey.
This Jacob Hill quote gives away the Frey team‘s true mission: to control the Minneapolis politics from the outside. Their motivation is not the betterment of Minneapolis citizens. Their profit-driven cause is about the full metro area economy - to help both Republicans and Democrats get rich.

I know they closed October 27, 2025. Private equity strikes again.
Minnesota Rusco is an interesting company. I wonder when they were founded.

While others debate who is most corrupt and/or the truest friend of the gays, allow me to introduce you to my friend the squeaky clean, down to earth, steady, experienced, normal guy pastor with a gay husband, DeWayne Davis.

People love this time of year for cooler temps, Halloween and pumpkin spice latte. I love it for a bluesky feed in the AM with nothing but basketball, Minneapolis politics and pasta shape discourse.
Capellini
a second day of the same discourse? no. no thank you.

instead I need you to name your least favorite pasta shape

Whether they bike, walk, drive, or ride, our neighbors deserve options they can depend on.

I know that together, we can build a transit system that gets all of us where we need to be on time, a transit system that is safe, reliable, and efficient.

Things people in Mpls can do in the next few weeks:

1. Help your neighbors vote and make their choices. Especially council, BET and park board. People look to their nerdy friends. Thats you.

2. Educate folks about the mail they’re getting & ads they’re seeing and who is paying for it.
In Minneapolis, a network of big $ political committees—All of Mpls, We Love Mpls, and Thrive Mpls—share donors, staff, and messaging.

In July, We Love Mpls was cited by the Campaign Finance Board (CFB) for violating disclosure rules.

Here's why all of them could be in violation of MN laws. 👇
