It’s just absolutely absurd platforms allow this type of thing. (Even Bluesky does!)
I genuinely believe that free speech is a blight on society but there’s no practical means of enforcing restrictions on stuff like this so we’re stuck with it.

Speaking off the cuff here, but I think a good example of the use of “forcibly” in the statute that Sandwich Guy was prosecuted under would be the difference between lightly tossing a balled up sheet of paper and hurling a bottle.

The Mayor of New York only makes $260k. I bet there are police that make more than that in NY with overtime.
We need to pay elected leaders more money and stop pretending it's some sort of calling. They're managing hundreds of billions of dollars in investments and millions of people's lives.

“Jury nullification” is a fancy phrase that just means, “This jury decided not to convict and there’s nothing anyone can do about that.”
If we think a law is unjust or unjustly enforced, we can just not convict. We don’t need a reason.
